Sitting vacant along East Ohio St, the Saint Nicholas Church has been the subject of much controversy. I thought I’d swing by and take a picture or two of the beautiful 110-year old building, but one of the doors was propped open. Hmmmm…

    I can not believe they would allow this to go under the wrecking ball. what a beautiful space. So sad when important architectural landmarks are leveled to make way for the all powerful car.

    Luckily, the wrecking-ball option is not certain. But it is a shame to see such a beautiful space vacant for so long.

    Tragically, the wrecking ball took its swing and felled the church. And, Judy, you are so right.
